    Newel publish with basket of fruit and bouquets from the staircase at Ham Household. The core of the household was created by Thomas Vavasour, a naval captain, in between 1608 and 1610. It experienced an H-program and was of standard Jacobean form, designed of brick with stone dressings, but was a lot altered in the afterwards seventeenth century. The doorcases with damaged pediments and busts are by the joiner, Thomas Carter. Murray supported the king all through the Civil War and was created earl of Dysart in 1651 but died in 1655 right before the Restoration. Next the dying of Murray’s wife, Katherine Bruce, in 1649, the house handed to their eldest daughter, Elizabeth Dysart, who experienced married Sir Lionel Tollemache in 1648.
