He is also retired from the Alabama Air Nationwide Guard, exactly where he served as a Procurement Officer until eventually mandatory retirement. Through his time teaching & in the ALARNG, he rode a bike to & from do the job, and drill.

Following that, he earned a Class A Professional Driver License with Passenger endorsement, and drove buses for a number of many years.
