It can be my 1st lamp designed of Senegalese calabash. Simply because of thickness of the fruit ( in some areas it was more than 1,5cm) carved areas are quite deep. On the top of the lamp there is certainly closing component locked by magnets. The lamp was painted with wooden oil in rosewood color. Black components of the pattern are burnt calabash surface area.
The foundation of the the lamp is carved from the block of alder wood and painted in the similar color as lampshade . The stand is embellished with black jewellery waxed string.
Height of the lamp: 38cm (15”)
Calabash diameter: 26cm (10,2”)
Base diameter: 22cm (8,7″)
