St Corantyn House, located on East Terrace in Adelaide, is a heritage listed residence that was recently sold for around AUS$4 million. The house has six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a four-car garage, five toilets, extensive grounds, and five main rooms, including a billiard room and a kitchen on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are six bedrooms with bathrooms and some with dressing rooms, as well as a laundry.

Built in 1891 and completed in 1892, St Corantyn House was originally named Eothen House and designed by architect George Soward for his step-sister Eliza, who had married a successful businessman and hotelier named Charles Hornabrook. The Gothic appearance of the house, with its arched veranda, was an adaptation for the hot Adelaide summers. The interior was known for its excellent woodwork and ornamentation.

From 1912, the house was occupied by Malcolm Reid, a prominent furniture emporium owner, and later by Sir John Lavington Bonython, a businessman, Lord Mayor of Adelaide, and proprietor of the Adelaide Advertiser newspaper. Bonython lived in St Corantyn from 1928 until 1960. In more recent years, the house has been used for mental health services and as a day hospital. However, it is likely to return to being a grand residence.
