This is a set of four cleaning soap bins I designed for an Australian shopper who was fascinated in obtaining the exact box in four distinct woods. Clockwise from the leading remaining, we have white oak, maple, mahogany, and walnut. I chose the most curiously figured wooden I experienced on hand for the lid content.
I opted for a mechanical joint at the corners to include strength where a skinny miter may well usually are unsuccessful in excess of time. The rack in each and every box is produced of unfinished cedar, selected for its resistance to h2o above time. The containers them selves are concluded with many coats of a mineral oil, carnauba wax, and beeswax mix.
