I found that my depth micrometer established, held in the garage, had rusted. I dropped what I was doing to see what I could do. The good news is, the ‘business ends’ of the shafts ended up not rusted at all, and I just desired to clean up the worst of it. I spun the shafts in a drill when keeping a Dremel resource equipped with a Scotchbrite-like cleaning little bit towards the metal. Decent final results, and the mikes can be employed when once again.

This is the “before” shot.
