It did not begin out to be round, or oval I guess, it begun out as a frequent sq. box, but I assumed it was a little bit way too chunky or a thing, so I determined to spherical above the corners at the bandsaw.
The primary system of the box is Kingwood, 1 of those people dense, oily tropicals that doesn’t acquire a film complete very well, so it had just one light-weight coat of Danish Oil end, and some furniture wax.
The lid is cherry, with two marginally curvy strips of walnut managing by means of it. It was slice from a bigger piece that I did a whilst in the past just as a proof of notion for a upcoming job, which turned out to be this a single.
