Replicating the Shapes of Control Arm Molds

Control Arm Mold: Copying the Shapes

This content demonstrates a process of copying 22 shapes using a Porter-Cable 6902 and a follower bit. The first step involves screwing the lowermost shape onto the work surface and inserting 2 locator pins into it. The rough part is then slid over the pins to enable copying of the part to the pattern. This process is repeated for all the remaining 21 shapes.
