The Restore and Restoration is taught in the 4th, or summer quarter at the Northwest College of Wood Boatbuilding.
Pupils understand to assess a boat’s situation, conduct an informal study, and acquire a maintenance or restoration program for vessels. They understand to safely reove each and every aspect of a wooden vessel, fix it or construct a new, alternative aspect, and reinstall it in the vessel.
Here, you can see the development college students are producing replanking the Herreshoff ALERION in for maintenance in the course of the summer season of 2007.
The Northwest University of Picket Boatbuilding is positioned in Port Hadlock WA and is a non-public, accredited non-profit vocational school.
