Edwin Monk was a prolific Pacific Northwest designer who received his get started in the ‘teens doing work for his father in a Seattle shipyard. He labored for famed designer Ted Geary in the 1920’s, and late in the 1920’s branched out to his own style and design business when Geary headed south.
This great little speedboat was one particular of two these types of boats presented in his 1934 e-book Boatbuilding, and was crafted of mahogany and Alaska Yellow cedar by Richard Wilmore’s 2008 Traditional Large Craft class at the similar time the class was building the Crosby Catboat.
