The Kingston Boat is a superlative instance of a mid-20th century boat applied for recreational fishing on the Puget Seem. It was at first built in Kingston WA, on the Kitsap Peninsula, northwest of Seattle.

The owner of the unique boat approached the College and asked that we create him a alternative boat to his first boat’s traces. Chief Instructor Tim Lee’s Regular Big Craft pupils built a traces jig and carefully measured the boat in the spring of 2011, then lofted and it and commenced setting up it in April. The moved together really quickly and accomplished most of the planking just before the program ended in mid-June. The class of 2012 done planking the boat and concluded out most of the interior. The course of 2013 will install the motor and shafting and complete the boat for her operator.
