The Pink Grandy, 12 1/2 feet prolonged, crafted of Western red cedar around white oak frames, is observed listed here beneath sail in entrance of the waterfront shops of the Northwest College of Wood Boatbuilding. www.nwboatschool.org This boat was constructed for an owner in Port Townsend WA by students in the 2011 Standard Smaller Craft course beneath the path of instructor Ben Kahn.
The Grandy Boat Enterprise was previously found on Lake Union in Seattle, and made quite a few hundreds of boats the two huge and tiny through a prolonged tenure there from the early 1920’s to 1967. These little craft are a person of our most well-known boats.
