This unique significant speed outboard ability start was designed in the late 1990’s by the Bates Technical College boatbuilding plan in Tacoma WA.
The University was requested to substitute the vessel’s base during the summer time of 2007 in the Restore and Restoration Class.
The launch was made in the mid-1960’s by R.D. “Pete” Culler for Commodore Percy Chubb. The first hull was created by the Concordia Yacht Firm in 1968. The launch is 30 feet extended with a beam of 8 ft 6 inches.
