Artist’s Assertion on this Do the job:

James Webb Room Telescope:This is an origin poem influenced by a conversation with Dr. Straughn about her childhood, and the influence a rural upbringing can have in regard to darkish skies. Possessing developed up on a blueberry farm in Maine, I could relate. The poem invokes rural photos: the audio of walking the fields at night, the potent proximity of stars my father’s honeybees, my mother’s Black-Eyed Susans. As human beings, there is the requirement of storytelling to conceptualize our universe. There is also the requirement to backlink stories like filaments.

These 18 mirrors of beryllium and gold, they want practically nothing
to do with us. Like hounds with searching in the blood, they want
to nose the air for a thing we are not able to see. Other than, we have built
a routine of ourselves, the digital camera turned all over, Narcissus in a monitor.
13.8 billion decades and for what, for us to halt inquiring concerns?
To no longer attract a thread in between tales? Like you, I have fallen
asleep in the fields beneath a blanket of stars. Like you, something
in me grows restless. Honeycomb. Black-Eyed Susan. These are not
the suitable terms to explain it. Somewhere in the shade of the Earth,
significantly from the Sun, you will wake from a aspiration you currently experienced.
You will uncover yourself back inside the discipline of points, the chorus
of bugs at night time, chatter of sharp wings. And the initial pictures
that occur again to you will experience as common as the cell, the flower,
the infinite snowflake.
