Ed Lamberson was a neighborhood boatbuilder below on the Olympic Peninsula. His 8-foot dinghy was a well known local boat for cruisers needing a good modest boat for use with their cruisers.
Right after Ed passed, his widow donated the molds for this boat to the University so we could preserve making Ed’s boat.
We built this beautiful minor boat in 2011-2012. It has a mahogany sheerstrake (the best plank) and is lapstrake planked with marine plywood planks. It truly is framed with white oak.
