The SAND Gentleman Basis www.tugsandman.org/index.htm restores and preserves the SAND Male tugboat as a registered Historic House and as a part of Puget Audio maritime record.

SANDMAN has been a component of the Olympia waterfront for above 100 a long time.

The vessel is mentioned on The Countrywide Sign-up of Historic Sites (Vessels) and The Washington State Historic Sign-up. Further more, it is mentioned as an Historic Web-site by the City of Olympia. The Basis would make the boat obtainable as a free floating museum and neighborhood historic landmark. The SAND Man Basis is a Section 501(c)(3) non-income company.
