Allen Martinson, 54, Sturgis, SD, died Saturday, March 10, at Sturgis Neighborhood Wellbeing Care Middle.

Allen Edgar Martinson was born July 19, 1946, at Fargo, the son of Orrin (Bob) and Lucille Martinson. He grew up on the family members farm in the vicinity of DeLamere and later moved to Lidgerwood exactly where he concluded his previous two decades of substantial faculty. He served in the US Air Drive from August 1965 until finally his honorable discharge in December 1968. He married JoAnn Hofland on Oct. 1, 1966, at Brady, MT.

He was a 28-year staff of Farmer Brothers Coffee and was the branch manager in Quick City for the past 21 several years. He loved woodworking and experienced won numerous awards for his layout function in the wooden art “intarsia.” His initial design of a Black Hills whitetail deer earned the protect of the country-al journal of Artistic Woodwork Craft.

Survivors involve: his wife, JoAnn Martinson, Sturgis two daughters, Viki Steely, Sturgis, and Patti Martinson, Swift Metropolis a son, James Martinson, Chandler, AZ his mother, Lucille Martinson, Sturgis a brother, Dennis (Ann) Martinson, Kalispell, MT a sister, Sheila (Keith) Kath, Rapid City and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in loss of life by his father.

Funeral expert services were being March 14 at Kinkade Funeral Chapel. Burial with military services honors followed at Black Hills Countrywide Cemetery, Sturgis.
