Ian is travelling to Warrington for an audit at head office, but stops at Fotheringhay Castle, where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned and executed, to visit St Mary and All Saints church. He then heads to Titchmarsh village to visit another church before continuing on to Warrington to visit a friend, Teresa. However, heavy snowfall causes delays on the roads, and Ian eventually arrives at his golf resort hotel, thankful to have made it safely despite his fuel warning light being on.
