A big team of us spent the morning of 7 July 2019 at the property and residence of Keith and Sandy Logan. They live NW of Cochrane on a 35-acre parcel of land. The team break up in half and took turns to search at Keith’s breathtaking photography and incredible woodwork and also to bio/blitz their land, to report all flora and fauna found. We were dealt with to coffee and delectable cake in Keith’s huge woodworking barn. We all agree – if you sit in one particular of Keith’s wooden chairs, you will see that no chair could ever be much more cozy – they are simply just awesome!

All morning, we had been followed all-around the garden by the Logan’s two tremendous canines – two gorgeous, helpful Newfoundland dogs, named Sally and Blueberry (?). What beautiful pet dogs these are! I feel food stuff have to be on their head all the time. Anytime someone would sit and take in their lunch, either one particular or both of those canines would arrive around and stand or sit and appear longingly at what was currently being eaten. These sweet pet dogs.
I really like to see their cats, also. On earlier visits, there had been a few cats, but I never know if they only have two now. What a lovely area they are fortuitous sufficient to connect with ‘home’.
After lunch, we drove a quick length to a further area, URSA, which stands for Universal Rehabilitation Assistance Agency. Just before non-financial gain URSA acquired the place, it employed to belong to W.O.Mitchell, who used it as a retreat. We have been introduced to Ben, who lives in W.O. Mitchell’s beautiful old cabin. Ben’s enthusiasm is generating wonderful metallic sculptures and many of his functions are scattered on the land about the cabin.
