The fantastic south window of the transept is the major of all the Morris & Burne Jones windows in the chapel and dates from 1873 in the remaining several years of Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co. (refounded before long afterwards as Morris & Co.). All the primary figures are from types by Edward Burne Jones aside from two by William Morris (who also developed all but just one of the angels in the traceries).
Jesus Faculty may not be the oldest of Cambridge’s faculties, but irrespective it can nonetheless boast the oldest chapel. Jesus School Chapel is a person of my absolute favourites, a pleasant developing with some wonderful glass. Happily it appears to be just one of the more visitor welcoming schools in Cambridge acquiring constantly found it doable to wander all-around freely although in some way keeping away from the crowds of holidaymakers that selected other Cambridge colleges entice.
