The Monastery of St Martin of Tibães (Portuguese: Mosteiro de São Martinho de Tibães) is a monastery located in the parish of Mire de Tibães, around Braga, in northern Portugal. It was the mother property of the Benedictine purchase in Portugal and Brazil, and it is identified for the exuberant Rococo decoration of its church.

Historical past
The 1st information about a monastic neighborhood in the region – the Monastery of Dumio, near to Tibães, launched by Saint Martin of Braga – dates from the 6th century.
The Monastery of Tibães was founded about 1060, and its feudal legal rights have been granted by Henry of Burgundy, Count of Portugal, in 1110.
