The mallet steps 13.75 inches extended. The head is 4 inches huge at the top, tapering to 3.75 inches at the base. It is finished with a coat of paste wax to support preserve the floor.
The balance is fairly superior. Holding it at the very base provides me a fantastic stable swing. Holding it around the neck enables for a more controlled tap.
I estimate the bodyweight at about 2 lbs.
