We designed very good development on all fronts in this week’s ‘You Can Establish It’ workshop with my mentor and associate Geo Monley, in his point out-of-the-artwork woodshop at Tam Significant University in Mill Valley.
Our pal Alice Menge and Phyllis joined us for at the start out of the session, and I laser slash for them some attractive eagle shapes for a new art task.
I then finished the body of the artwork cart I am building for my individual maker courses, to showcase our students’ perform for the Town of the Upcoming program.
Geo’s large school course finished ‘Makers Field’, the animatronic metropolis they created beneath his direction. The class has performed a great occupation with this undertaking, which is now completely ready to demonstrate off at Marinovators, a neighborhood maker faire at the Faculty of Marin at the conclusion of the 7 days.
I have joined forces with Geo to build a new program identified as Tam Makers, to offer you a public makerspace and maker classes for grownups and teens at Tam Significant — and mature a neighborhood of makers, pupils and instructors in South Marin.
