We are establishing a public makerspace in Tam Large School’s state-of-the-art woodshop, to generate cool objects — and expand a local community of makers, students and teachers in South Marin.
Below are some of the artworks we are developing in Geo Monley’s woodworking workshop, referred to as ‘You Can Build It’. With his aid, I am developing a ‘maker art cart’ to showcase the get the job done of our pupils — and Howard Rheingold is creating a triangular table for our Pataphysical Studios.
This week, I used the laser cutter to make characters for our Town of the Potential training course.
