We are creating a general public makerspace in Tam Significant School’s state-of-the-artwork woodshop, to build neat objects — and increase a community of makers, learners and instructors in South Marin.
In this article are some of the artworks we are generating in Geo Monley’s woodworking workshop, named ‘You Can Create It’. With his assist, I am setting up a ‘maker art cart’ to showcase the get the job done of our pupils — and Howard Rheingold is earning a triangular desk for our Pataphysical Studios.
This week, I made use of the laser cutter to make people for our City of the Upcoming course.
