The concept is to have two reliable leg assemblies (blue & eco-friendly) connected by the removeable purple stretchers. The total top rated then drops on top of that in one particular piece.

I have drawn wedged tenons for the leading rails, but in fact the leg rails are a great deal additional very likely to get wedged. I have attempted resawing 20mm oak inventory by hand and the final result was rather nice and rapidly, so I’ll make the 4 leg rails this way.
I’ve thought of producing a wedged 50 percent-dovetail for the stretcher-leg joints, but I are not able to make the stretchers for a longer period, I never want to shift the legs closer, and all this sort of joints I see have the tail protrude by a excellent total, I suppose to guidance the fibers underneath the wedge. Also I do not really feel far too confident building four 10cm deep mortises…
