The park is conveniently positioned subsequent to an exit to West Rail Mei Foo station. Excellent for early morning walks, afternoon strolls and tai chi. The Lingnan type garden with a pond, a pavilion and lined corridor is an great spot for pics and tv set programme capturing. Lingnan Yard (the garden) was formally opened to the public on 11th November 2000. The every day opening several hours are from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. As the back garden is located in the reclamation space of Lai Chi Kok in Kowloon, and lichee is a well-known fruit of Lingnan, it is built in classical Lingnan style. The garden occupies an spot of 12,500 square metres with about 2,600 sq. metres coated with drinking water characteristics, which choose up about 20% of its total spot.

Also, the vibrant optical fibre gentle festooning the eaves from the Japanese Gate to the corridor-type bridge adds allure to the garden. There are in depth plantation spots inside and exterior the backyard with unique species of vegetation. Canopies of leaves present shade from the sunlight. Website visitors will definitely be impressed by the beautiful bonsai there.

One of the scenic places in the back garden is the “Healthy Pebble Route Zone”, which is a route laid with pebbles. Readers can wander alongside the path with their cloth footwear on or barefoot. The walk can promote the reflex regions of the toes and as a result boost the blood circulation. The path is extremely popular among the the general public as it is usually stuffed with visitors.
