Stil Novo Design offers an exclusive solid white oak large bench called ‘Ponte Vecchio.’ The bench is made entirely from recycled oak staves from wine fermentation barrels. The bench offers a perfect blend of practicality, comfort, originality, and sophistication. It can be integrated into any room of the house and can blend with any style of interior décor.
The bench uses the natural curve of a stave from a fermentation barrel to create a smooth and ‘silky’ silhouette for the top seat and legs. Additionally, the actual metal hoop from the barrels is used to create the decorative arch under the seat. The bench is finished with a beautiful natural ‘golden oak’ color, while the underside of the staves is finished with a rich ‘cherry chocolate’ color to complement the natural staining of the red wine previously held in the barrels. The Ponte Vecchio bench measures about 40” X 14 1/2” (top) and 18 1/2” height.
