This is a Walker Turner “Driver Line” L500 Woodworking lathe that I purchased at the flea market about 3 years back for $25.00. That incorporated a 3/4 H.P. Craftsman Motor that I did not want to use. It has an 8” swing and is 24” in between centers, and was manufactured in the mid 1930’s. It sold new for $12.95 (despair period bucks ended up a ton bigger) together with a 72 webpage e-book of recommendations. I am lacking the wrench and 4-move V pulley from what the ad demonstrates. The motor powering the lathe is the a person I approach to use and is a 1940’s period 1/4 H.P.
