The Lancaster County Super Fair offers an opportunity for 4-H members to showcase their skills and knowledge during the judging of their static exhibits. One of the most popular exhibits at the fair is the Science, Engineering & Technology exhibits. The exhibits cover a wide range of projects, including Aerospace, Computer, Geospatial (GPS), Electricity, Robotics, Power of Wind, Small Engines, Model Vehicle, Woodworking, Welding, Safety, and Bicycles. These projects offer 4-H members the opportunity to learn about a variety of STEM-related fields.

The Aerospace category focuses on building and launching model rockets. 4-H’ers learn about the basic principles of aerodynamics, and they are taught how to design and build rockets. They also learn about different types of engines, and how to safely launch and recover their rockets.

The Computer category is a chance for 4-H members to showcase their programming skills. They can create a website or program a video game, and they are judged on their creativity and the functionality of their projects.

The Geospatial (GPS) category requires 4-H’ers to use GPS technology to map out a specific area. They learn about GPS technology, including coordinate systems, and they use this knowledge to create a digital map that includes all relevant features.

The Electricity category focuses on circuit building and design. 4-H’ers learn about electricity and how to safely work with it. They also learn about basic circuits and how to design and build them. They can create an electronic device, such as a flashlight or a speaker, to participate in this category.
