This box was my closing task for my woodworking class in my initial semester at BCIT. It was built out of black walnut and completed with 4 coats of danish oil and briwax. I was genuinely joyful with how the knot turned out in the best of the box, particularly the smoky part on the much appropriate part of the knotted panel. This was my first time executing box joints, and even though the joints them selves had been not to challenging to build, sanding the walnut end grain took pretty some time.
