The Maintenance and Restoration is taught during the fourth, or summer months, quarter at the Northwest Faculty of Picket Boatbuilding.

Learners study to evaluate a boat’s ailment, perform an informal study, and develop a repair service or restoration program for vessels. They study to properly remove each part of a picket vessel, repair it or develop a new, replacement element, and reinstall it in the vessel.

The Northwest School of Picket Boatbuilding is located in Port Hadlock WA and is a private, accredited non-profit vocational school.

Our mission is to teach and preserve the good artwork of picket boatbuilding and classic maritime crafts.
