Yet another shot of the peg-creating walnut scrap dust. I have been seeking to get a small spice rack to fill with pure shavings or dust of each individual of the sorts of wooden I make. Numerous are rather fragrant. Walnut (noticed in this article) smells so mouth watering I want to try to eat it. It reminds me of cinnamon and chocolate bread pudding.
Also, I believe it would be very woodworker-geeky to have a spice rack with labels like “jointed really hard maple,” “turned walnut dust,” and “sanded purple oak.” I just have to resist the urge to sprinkle them on my acquire-out.
