The close grains are a combine of rift sawn, quartersawn, and straight sawn cuts. I stacked them like this to get some perception of how they will glimpse in a hanging wall unit I am hoping to assemble for these, and the other samples I will be acquiring over time. These will slide into routed slots in vertical rails, as in a CD storage tower, generating a bit of a pop-art/modern-day wall hanging, with hotter, countryish features, in that the items are all wood. This will provide as the two a conversation piece, and a reference device for me.
I will possible unfold the values all around in the closing show. I experienced been striving to stack the lighter woods in get of brightness – hard with the shifting brightness based mostly on lighting place. That is why they are all bunched up on just one side below. I’d like one thing a little bit far more artistically composed in the conclude.
