The Fix and Restoration is taught all through the fourth, or summer time, quarter at the Northwest University of Picket Boatbuilding.
Students understand to evaluate a boat’s problem, conduct an informal study, and establish a mend or restoration strategy for vessels. They understand to properly remove each individual part of a picket vessel, fix it or develop a new, substitute component, and reinstall it in the vessel.
The Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding is found in Port Hadlock WA and is a non-public, accredited non-profit vocational school.
Our mission is to train and maintain the high-quality art of wooden boatbuilding and traditional maritime crafts.
