The Repair and Restoration is taught throughout the fourth, or summertime, quarter at the Northwest Faculty of Picket Boatbuilding.
Learners discover to assess a boat’s condition, carry out an informal study, and establish a mend or restoration prepare for vessels. They understand to properly take away each part of a wooden vessel, fix it or make a new, substitution part, and reinstall it in the vessel.
The Northwest University of Wooden Boatbuilding is found in Port Hadlock WA and is a personal, accredited non-profit vocational college.
