On perspective at The Achieved Fifth Avenue in Gallery 501.

This depth is from a analyze, (or studiolo), supposed for meditation and study. Its partitions are carried out in a wood-inlay technique recognized as intarsia. The latticework doors of the cupboards, demonstrated open up or partly closed, indicate the present-day desire in linear point of view. The cupboards display screen objects reflecting Duke Federico’s extensive-ranging inventive and scientific interests, and the depictions of textbooks recall his substantial library. Emblems of the Montefeltro are also represented. This room could have been intended by Francesco di Giorgio (1439-1502) and was executed by Giuliano da Majano (1432-1490).
