The to start with “phase” of ending a woodworking job, staining the top and entrance edge. Task is as created by the photographer. Taken in Albany, CA by a Nikon D40x with a Sigma 70-300 DG non-APO macro lens. (at 70) Camera’s on-board flash fired.
Note that the desk that this undertaking is sitting on was also crafted by me…
I you should not try to remember why this shot was taken with the Sigma, (I’d generally acquire a shot of this kind with the package lens, or a 35mm “ordinary” prime lens…) but almost certainly that was the lens on the digicam at the time I picked it up…
