This commenced lifetime as a hunk of wooden that appeared like its most handy intent would be a door-cease, or possibly firewood. But it was really heavy, for not becoming significantly extensive (about 12″) so I tried to airplane and sand it. A little bit of function with a saw, at least 10 passes via the planer and really a little bit of sanding and I now have a 3x3x12″ piece of hardwood. (Oak I assume?)
I imagined this pattern on the side was fairly putting.
Not certain what I am heading to do with it however, but now it is really objective in daily life is going to be artistic.
