The Community Boat Venture pupils, led by Captains Wayne Chimenti and MB Armstrong and veteran trainer Marci Van Cleve, launched the fourth boat constructed in the method, the 32-foot sailing vessel EPIC.
The Local community Boat Task is a special partnership among the Northwest School of Picket Boatbuilding (the direct organization), Port Townsend College District (#50), Chimacum School District (#49), 4-H/Washington Condition University (WSU), and the Puget Seem Voyaging Modern society.

It is an “all ages, all volunteers” group-oriented non-earnings corporation specializing in cost-free, accredited plans for superior college pupils.
Intergenerational maritime instruction is the mission of the Neighborhood Boat Shop.
The Store strives to give youth a “feeling of area” by connecting them to the setting, the financial state, and the persons of the Olympic Peninsula.
