The Group Boat Challenge students, led by Captains Wayne Chimenti and MB Armstrong and veteran trainer Marci Van Cleve, introduced the fourth boat created in the program, the 32-foot sailing vessel EPIC.

The Community Boat Venture is a special partnership concerning the Northwest University of Wood Boatbuilding (the guide firm), Port Townsend University District (#50), Chimacum Faculty District (#49), 4-H/Washington State College (WSU), and the Puget Sound Voyaging Culture.
