St Michael and All Angels Church in Lesnewth, Cornwall, dates back to the 12th century and features a tower added in the 15th century. Although the church is surrounded by trees and is deep in a wooded hollow, only the tower is visible from outside. The Church’s Project was initiated in 2015 to take black and white photographs of Cornwall’s granite landscapes, but visiting Zennor Church revealed that churches and churchyards held far more photographic interest. The Cornish Historic Churches Trust ensures these churches are maintained for future generations. All photography and equipment is sponsored by inlinefilters.co.uk, and piktour.uk serves as a portfolio website and blog. The images can be used as a hobby but an accreditation would be appreciated and if used commercially, a donation to sightsavers.org would be welcomed. Fine art prints and downloads are also available from the site.
