Drawers’ Chest

Chest of Drawers

The content simply describes the results of a piece of furniture made from quarter-sawn, air-dried white oak that was harvested from trees cut down by the author’s neighbor in Moundville. The wood was treated with an ammonia-fumed, hand-rubbed oil and wax finish. The final dimensions of the furniture piece are 36 inches in width, 20 inches in depth and 60 inches in height.
