About 30 pieces of MC treated 50 gsm Mitsumata paper of many sizes.
Folded from diagram in Tanteidan Magazine Vol. 184.
So it really is been a whilst due to the fact I posted just about anything, near to 5 several years in point. Haven’t folded a great deal possibly in the past number of yrs, but I wished to fold his design. Slightly thinner paper would have been much easier, perhaps 40 gsm. The genuine folding is very uncomplicated, but it needs a whole lot of shaping. I also modified some issues from Mase Eiichirou’s original to more intently resemble genuine Diatryma skeletons. Manufactured the base from some remaining in excess of scrap oak from woodworking tasks and requested the brass plaque for a handful of pounds. Glue and wire is required to place it together, to pose it, and for it to maintain its form.
Stands close to 10″ (about 25 cm) tall.
