We are generating an Artwork Float for Social Modify at Tam Makers, to encourage much more folks to participate in democracy. Our parade float will achieve out to youth and individuals of shade via art, songs and know-how. We will existing this artwork show on Earth Day, Memorial Day and Fourth of July parades in Marin — and all over California this drop, to encourage persons to vote in the next election.
Our exclusive artwork float celebrates mom earth with a carousel of waving palms, pulled by a huge feathered serpent. Performers will explain to stories of hope on a phase embellished with scenes of a improved environment. Significant signals will invite men and women to converse up and vote! You can pitch thoughts for social adjust on the podium, or have them scroll on the information ticker.
This neighborhood artwork job is produced by a group of pupils and makers, led by Fabrice Florin and Geo Monley, co-founders of Tam Makers in Mill Valley. We are grateful to Tam Superior College for internet hosting this venture and to all our wonderful volunteers and art, civic and academic partners, for serving to build this float and current it to a diverse neighborhood.
