We are producing an Art Float for Social Transform at Tam Makers, to inspire far more persons to take part in democracy. Our parade float will access out to youth and individuals of color by artwork, audio and engineering. We will present this art present on Earth Day, Memorial Day and Fourth of July parades in Marin — and throughout California this fall, to stimulate people today to vote in the subsequent election.
Our one of a kind artwork float celebrates mom earth with a carousel of waving hands, pulled by a large feathered serpent. Performers will convey to tales of hope on a phase decorated with scenes of a far better environment. Massive indicators will invite men and women to converse up and vote! You can pitch strategies for social change on the podium, or have them scroll on the news ticker.
This neighborhood artwork undertaking is established by a group of pupils and makers, led by Fabrice Florin and Geo Monley, co-founders of Tam Makers in Mill Valley. We are grateful to Tam Superior University for web hosting this challenge and to all our amazing volunteers and art, civic and educational companions, for helping create this float and present it to a assorted neighborhood.
