We are building an Artwork Float for Social Adjust at Tam Makers, to inspire additional individuals to participate in democracy. Our parade float will arrive at out to youth and individuals of shade as a result of art, songs and engineering. We will present this artwork show on Earth Working day, Memorial Day and Fourth of July parades in Marin — and in the course of California this drop, to motivate individuals to vote in the following election.
Our unique artwork float celebrates mother earth with a carousel of waving palms, pulled by a large feathered serpent. Performers will inform tales of hope on a stage adorned with scenes of a much better entire world. Substantial signals will invite individuals to converse up and vote! You can pitch suggestions for social adjust on the podium, or have them scroll on the information ticker.
This neighborhood artwork job is developed by a workforce of students and makers, led by Fabrice Florin and Geo Monley, co-founders of Tam Makers in Mill Valley. We are grateful to Tam Large Faculty for internet hosting this undertaking and to all our wonderful volunteers and artwork, civic and academic associates, for serving to produce this float and present it to a various community.
