We are making an Art Float for Social Transform at Tam Makers, to inspire additional folks to take part in democracy. Our parade float will reach out to youth and people of coloration by means of art, tunes and technological know-how. We will current this artwork show on Earth Day, Memorial Day and Fourth of July parades in Marin — and throughout California this tumble, to really encourage people today to vote in the following election.
Our one of a kind artwork float celebrates mother earth with a carousel of waving palms, pulled by a big feathered serpent. Performers will explain to stories of hope on a stage adorned with scenes of a superior earth. Substantial symptoms will invite people today to discuss up and vote! You can pitch suggestions for social modify on the podium, or have them scroll on the information ticker.
This community artwork project is made by a staff of pupils and makers, led by Fabrice Florin and Geo Monley, co-founders of Tam Makers in Mill Valley. We are grateful to Tam Substantial Faculty for web hosting this venture and to all our wonderful volunteers and art, civic and academic companions, for helping generate this float and present it to a numerous local community.
