We are producing an Artwork Float for Social Transform at Tam Makers, to inspire much more people today to participate in democracy. Our parade float will reach out to youth and people today of shade by means of artwork, tunes and know-how. We will current this artwork show on Earth Working day, Memorial Day and Fourth of July parades in Marin — and through California this slide, to stimulate men and women to vote in the next election.
Our distinctive artwork float celebrates mom earth with a carousel of waving arms, pulled by a large feathered serpent. Performers will inform tales of hope on a phase embellished with scenes of a improved environment. Big symptoms will invite persons to talk up and vote! You can pitch concepts for social alter on the podium, or have them scroll on the information ticker.
This group art undertaking is produced by a team of pupils and makers, led by Fabrice Florin and Geo Monley, co-founders of Tam Makers in Mill Valley. We are grateful to Tam Substantial School for internet hosting this venture and to all our amazing volunteers and artwork, civic and academic associates, for encouraging generate this float and current it to a various community.
