We are developing an Art Float for Social Improve at Tam Makers, to encourage more folks to take part in democracy. Our parade float will get to out to youth and persons of shade via art, tunes and technological innovation. We will existing this art present on Earth Working day, Memorial Working day and Fourth of July parades in Marin — and in the course of California this drop, to encourage people today to vote in the upcoming election.
Our unique artwork float celebrates mother earth with a carousel of waving fingers, pulled by a big feathered serpent. Performers will explain to tales of hope on a stage decorated with scenes of a better environment. Huge indications will invite individuals to converse up and vote! This group artwork undertaking is designed by a staff of students and makers, led by Fabrice Florin and Geo Monley, co-founders of Tam Makers in Mill Valley.
